You guys are lucky, over here we have to pay in pounds what you pay in
dollars. 
Any US products sold by our Ham stores get marked up with Tax and dealer
profit by around 50%, the basic TenTec Eagle is £1,759.95 here as against
$1,819.00 in the US,
That equates to a US price of $2763 with the present exchange rate.
The Elecraft 500watt amp is selling for £2000.00 or $3141.
