All right...Now I am confused. How can I tell which Omni I have? It is
a 546 if I believe the serial number It has the Electronic Display
(when it works, sometimes I lose the kilo hz digits, although the VFO
works fine) and only says Omni on the front. Is this Model C, Series B,
C or D or Model D,Series X ?..Is the distinction, features, parts, or
the phase of the moon during the week of construction?
I have a manual that is not clearly identified although most things seem
correct. There is one reference to a Model 546 but what Series? Most
things seem to correspond. And how do you tell which model, which
Version? The one oddity I have noticed in the manual is that the 3
Audio positions are referenced as A,B, and C. Mine are marked 1,2, & 3?
There are probably other label differences that I have yet to notice.
Case is a brownish gray if that makes any difference.
