> those TT PTO rigs are "the new boatanchors" My ears hurt when I heard "boatanchor" and Corsair II used in the same sentence, but it's probably true. As I sit here cleaning the PTO, I'm reminded there's nothing out there being made like this anymore (brass mechanical controls with ball bearings, etc.) I'm not saying that's a bad thing, just that this is a beautiful piece of equipment. It's hard to imagine a time when this sort of design was mainstream. Thanks to all for the advice on alignment, caps, etc. PTO rebuild going well. --Andrew, NV1B .. |
