Well, you could crystal them up for a net frequency, but amateur nets seldom stay exactly on the published frequency. The NTS nets often have to QSY to dodge QRM. You could crystal them up for the 60 meter channels. It may be possible to connect an outboard VFO to them. Or, just pick a frequency, sell/give one to a local friend and have a Ten Tec intercom.

If I saw one in good shape at a good price I'd get it just to tinker with it, but not for $200 and not in that condition!

Other than having one for a collection, they're kinda of useless..
