It's a old Civil Air Patrol transceiver
and the one you have linked to is in really nasty shape, and $200
starting bid.. well, that guy and planters have a lot in common
I have two of them here in my collection, run about 100 watts on
crystal controlled frequencies
Other than having one for a collection, they're kinda of useless..
