No, I meant to say that at speeds above 18 wpm, the character speed
and the overall code speed are the same. This is the way that code
practice from W1AW is sent, if I'm not mistaken.

I always thought that Farnsworth spacing = actual spacing at 18 wpm
(at ARRL) and higher speeds were actual speeds for the characters.
