True. On one of my forays into SSB I checked into a net with the phonetics "N 4 No Traffic"

Later I wished I'd applied for "N 4 Good Buddy"

Its not been very long ago that we went from Able, Baker, To Alpha, Bravo so
as not to confuse foreign or allied people.  Most Americans, outside of
military, it would seem,  use whatever comes to mind.  I pretty much stay
away from CB portions of fone ham bands anymore. I guess you can hear about
anything.  Too Bad.
