I had a TH3-JR and started to have poor receive issues that could be
corrected by keying the transmitter for a split second. Well, the problem
slowly
got worse. I finally pulled the antenna down and checked the traps. Every
screw inside each trap was loose. I suspect you have a feedline or matching
network connection that's gone south, and not the traps. Check inside the
shack
first.
