The tuner on my Orion 1 has some very strange quirks. I would suggest you 
connect your tribander to antenna position "2" and see if the problem goes 
away. On the Orion 1 the auto tuner is completely bypassed in antenna 
position #2 and my "high swr" problem vanished.
