I also had problems with my Orion a month back. Couldn't use the sub
receiver, no signals but background noise.
I tried all the obvious re-sets. TT said send it in.Being a inquisitive ham I took the covers off. What to my amazement, a little watch like battery in the bottom section. I removed the battery for a minute then put it back. PROBLEM FIXED!!!!Called TT and they said that the battery removal was the same as a RAM reset??? Ram reset didn't work reviously to my battery removal. For what it's worth.George |
