Interesting...the same thing happened to me.  It was pretty amazing to see
it unfold.  I guess they have to make there quotas.

My local FEDEX guy lied to his supervisor and said he had delivered a
package on a Friday. Even had my "signature" on the form. When I complained
I still hadn't seen it, the package suddenly appeared on my front porch on
Saturday and we saw him running back to his personal truck. Zero came of my
complaint.
