Not actually. First of all....The clicks aren't necessairly really there.
The Icom is producing the noise on it's own. Second...The clicks can either
distract, confuse or cover up a desired signal. During a crowded contest
situation with many strong signals, I hear a lot of clicks. Like I said, I
used to write it off as key clix from bad transmitters until I ran this
little test.
Loud is only good if what you want to hear....is loud.
