[Yaesu] FT-1000 Alignment Question - SHIFT Control Center

I noticed on one of my FT-1000's that the audio tone difference between
USB and LSB is quite noticeable.  To get the tone correct I need to turn
the SHIFT control from center to almost 3 o'clock for one side...then 9
o'clock for the other sideband.

 

I have the alignment manual, but wanted to know what alignment would
potentially fix this issue.
