Here's another thing I noticed during the rtty sprint.
I wanted to send a quick "TU" when I was vacating the
frequency. The sound card would send a one-second continuous
tone before starting to send characters, and then it would
finish with another continuous tone at the end. It turned
my quick TU into a five star Cecil B. DeMille production!
Is there any way to shorten or eliminate those tails?
