Dave, you must be running AFSK - oh yeah, now I see that in the subject
line! Anyway, I knew it just from your description. I've asked about
this "tail" many times, and have never been able to eliminate it. I
received several suggestions related to the "PTT DELAY=" and related
lines of the ini file etc, but none of these suggestions eliminated what
you are talking about.
The cleanest work-around for this is to just run FSK - That is very
clean and shorter - If you have a buffer that only has TU%E, you will
only hear the TU with no beginning or ending tail.
