I've been running Writelog for some time but just decided to add rig
control. I have a Tentec Omni 6 (Version 2.0 firmware). I put the rig on
com 3 and selected the Omni 6. It was bad! I had to do a hard reset on the
radio to get it back online. I used the Icom 735 (Tentec says the Omni uses
the Icom instruction set). It does work, but when tuning the rig with the
VFO it will jump 100 KHz from time to time. When tuning along and the band
gets quiet on 20 phone you can look and see you are at 14100 rather than
14200! I've tried the other Icom and Tentec rigs--any ideas?
