Here in SW Ohio EM79, I managed 13 SSB Q's and 12 grids in roughly 3 hours.
It was encouraging to hear more activity than what I usually see here on 222
Tuesday.
It was clear that the band wasn't helping much, as my typical 400 ish mile
range limit was in play,
with W8ZN being the furthest Q at 383 miles. I did hear KC4AAW/EM85 well at one
point,
but did not get to work him.
I always hold out hope that the band will cooperate, and I'll be able to work
the 1's and 2's from the northeast.
Thanks to everyone who got on and made noise.
Don
