What if a large bird , say an owl or a large hawk or an eagle tried to land
out on the front of one of the antennas and that 20lb bird with some
forward motion caused the boom to flex enough to collapse and then it
attempted it again on the lower antenna with the same results.  I have had
both large red tail hawks and an eagle pearch on my array and I'm surprised
it held them.  When they took off the whole array did quite a dance.
