 Good afternoon all

I am planning to rove again this weekend.  I will have gear from 50 MHz to 10
GHz. Guided by observations in June I have worked on the 3456/3400 unit.  The
+5V supply on the pre-amp had failed.  Receive sensitivity is not excellent but
it is about 50dB better now.  In spite of being designed for 3456 it is 10 dB
more sensitive at 3400.
The bottom four are good nominal 100 W stations, after that 10W down to 100 mW
on 10 GHz.  All have demonstrated the ability to cross Lakes Erie and Ontario.
I can run FM on all bands when required.  I will have 146.55 and 223.5
monitoring when I am not using that IF elsewhere.
I have not found a good way to change bands from an FT8 initial contact but
will do my best.  Based on recent LCRs from FT8 also has the highest NIL rate
(sent and received).  I don't know how to correct that but I will do my best.
I will be on 144.237 for skeds and as talk-back.  The VFO works so I will also
check 144.260 and scan around 144.200.  FT8 on 50 and 144 with 222 and 432 if
necessary.
I accept traditional skeds, please e-mail ve3oil@yahoo.ca and I will return a
list of suggestions.
My cell is available for texts 289 775 9203.

locations):
