Correct, but the diode matrix determines the frequencies the radio will
operate, at least according to the manual. Mike

Because those are the European 2m and 70cm bands?

Subject: [VHFcontesting] Yaesu 736R question
I am trying to fix a 736. The CPU board was replaced. The board was
purchased off Ebay. The board came from Europe. The radio will cover 144-146
and 430-440. The diodes are correct on the 2 meter and 430 boards. I am not
sure why it is only covering these frequencies? Any insight. Thanks Mike
