The Toshiba amplifiers for 3456 are great (bulletproof) and are available
from PyroJoe (look for pyrojospeh on eBay) and some other sources. They
have typically been $100-200 for a 40-50W Amplifier. I personally have two
of these I have built into amateur amplifiers (one I loan out) and have
built a similar setup for another ham and all work well. One is at the top
of a 120' tower in a waterproof box I built with N5YA and it sets in the
Texas sun all day buy has performed without a hitch.

Subject: [VHFcontesting] K3LFO Rover Upgrading
Hi All,
We are always adding to the rover and hope to complete some additions in
time for the September contest. We should end up with amplifiers for 200+
watts on 903, 150 watts on 1296, and the addition of a 2304 transverter and
Amp at 40-60 watts.
Looking towards the future, after September, we plan to add 3456 with a DEMI
Transverter. Does anyone know of a low cost source for solid state
12 or 24 volt dc amplifiers for this band? If so please pass it along.
Thanks and 73,
Jim K3LFO
