To clarify, 2:14 turns is best for 40M; because the secondary will resonate in the range of 20 MHz, 1:7 would be the better choice for an antenna that be used up to its 4th harmonic.

You can see this in data from my collaborator on my earliest work on chokes back in 2005. He has chosen to remain anonymous because he did the work in a corporate lab, where there can be professional jealousies.
