We all would!  If you find a nice used one for under $1000 let me
know!  Oh, except that you'll buy it probably.

And number 3, that with longer wavelengths and longer radials, as the
radials diverge, more of them means less distance between them out at
the ends, which means better ground current collection.
At 1800, kind of nice; at 560, pretty important.  When your quarter
wave is 500 feet long, 30 radials ain't gonna cover the ground several
hundred feet out from the tower.
