I’d like to also make sure I’m clear... the Jim I’m referring to is the one
who’s using this reflector to be rude and not adding anything to help Terry the
original poster.
Jim, K9YC, has helped me learn things a LOT over the past ten years that I’ve
been building my home QTH. He sometimes does it in a way that is befitting my
question asking when I haven’t done my due diligence and I’m grown enough with
a thick enough skin to appreciate another man who expects some work out of
myself.
People may have their personality differences, but you look damn foolish making
so many assumptions while attacking someone else... just think of how the one
ham asssumed that the OP would be buying a new tower, tribander, or spending a
lot of money.
Keep it private please and better yet, do it in person where a man can give you
what you deserve back instead of over the keyboard.
Tim / N6WIN.

Well, I don't chime in very often, but I will this time...I think
Jim K9YC was just being through with his answer and wanted
to educate folks, esp any new hams on the list....simple as that.
Tom W8JI would normally do the same thing when he would answer
a guy's question.
Thanks to Jim for all he does!!
BTW...haven't seen any posts from Tom W8JI in a long time...hope he's
doing OK!
