I did not post anything about not using stainless steel clamps. I use
100% stainless steel hose clamps on my smaller tubing connections and SS
bolted band clamps on larger tubing. My comment was that they will not
prevent the thin 7/16 diameter tips from breaking where it is connected
to the much larger and stiffer swedged tube.
