I tried split bolts, and they were greatly inferior to the crossover
clamps.
Split bolts do not allow crossover connections and the incomplete
threads aren't strong enough to allow the nut to be cranked up tight.
Well done you guys, for finding a US supplier of the crossover clamps.
It seems like fencing suppliers in various countries are re-branding the
same product.
