Steve,

Yeah it is the RFS connector for their Cellflex LCF78-50.
Will stay with the RFS............
The price from Tessco is $24.00 not too bad for a 7/8" DIN.

thanks for the info.

Well if it's made for LCF78-50, that's the safest one to use. Other connectors might be usable if the center conductor pin is the right style and size.

I watched the video, it's a fairly typical install procedure. Most connectors come with an install sheet and the procedure will be straightforward.

One simple test that you should do after installing one of these connectors - try to twist the body of the connector on the cable. If you can twist it, you did something wrong and you should start over.

Steve,

Whats your opinion on this 7/16 DIN connector for 7/8" line ?
Is this similar to the ones commonly used at cell sites, etc. ?
I would use this guy on RFS Cellflex LCF78-50. (7/8")

I am trying to find a video on you tube or something showing the
installation of the 7/8" DIN's.
Is this video a good idea of the assembly ?
Know of another video for a newbie ? :-)
