Hi William,
I have a 85 foot, aluminum tower made from parts from Universal and Heights.
(Yes, with some difficulties you can fit them together.) I add a link to my
facebook page. You can, kind of, see how I attached four guy wires to the
tower. I prefer 4 guy wires as that gives a slight better load situation and
allow for a larger misalignment of the anchor point.
A point, the guy wires are not connected at the top but about 1/4 - 1/3 down.
That gives a better distributions of the wind load on the tower.

I will, weather permitting, climb the tower in a week or so and can take some
pictures detailing the guy connection.

Subject: [TowerTalk] Guying Alum Tower
I have a 50 foot Universal Aluminum tower which I would like to extend
to 80-100 feet and guy it to offset the fact the base sections would not
be large enough for Universal's design drawings at that height. Anyone
have any experience good or bad in trying to do something like this?
Thanks,
William Osborne--K5ZQ
