When I bought the Heath Cantenna back in the 70s, I decided it would be
easier to go and get the mineral oil. I went to the pharmacy and got the oil
and it was several bottles. The guy in the line behind me kept staring at
the cart full of mineral oil! :-) I told him I had been having some trouble
lately!!

That transformer fluid is basically, plain old 200 fluid. It may, or may not
contain additives. IOW, it's good stuff.
You can probably get it in 5 gallon lots. Get a group buy? OTOH how many
hams are willing to pay $50 a gallon?
