M2 offers a 3KW and a 5KW balun for the KT36XA. These are not shown on their
website. If you want one or the other you can call M2 at (559) 432-8873.
Balun Designs also offers a 4:1 5KW balun 4114t. Someone else suggested the
4125.
I have no pecuniary interest in M2 or Balun Designs.

I'm rebuilding a KT34XA and installing the KT36 upgrade kit plus new style
boom to element clamps. Right now I plan to use the new 3KW balun I got from
M2. Is there something better out there I should consider? I believe Balun
Designs makes excellent high quality products that work.

The KT-36 is 200 ohms feed point impedance. Not 50 ohms. I though I better
clarify.
