They do now ... but they used the terminal strips for more than 25
years. There are a lot of old T2X out there that have never been
converted to pigtail. I don't care for the Cinch Jones plug ...
it's not waterproof/sealed and as far as I'm concerned no better than
the terminal strip.

Perhaps ... but adding a decent controller (Green Heron?) makes the
system cost substantially higher. Not that there aren't advantages
to a design that has no fixed stops ...
