Consider a 4-el SteppIR. You won't regret it. Pricey, but it works
incredibly well.

Ok I got it! It will work! Thanks everyone for the input! I just need
to decide now on a good tribander. I am sort of torn between a TH-7,
TH-6, or KT-34XA...Probably depends on what I can find used for the
right price! ;-)

Do NOT buy a KT34XA or KT34A used, unless you want to put a lot of time
into refurbishing it. THe old KT34XAs are excellent performers, but
the
design lends itself to oxidation at critical points. When you buy the
beam you
would need to clean all connections etc and possibly replace the
plastic
end caps on the cap tubes. Having assembled a few KT34XAs I can tell
you
you really don't want to go that route....a royal PITA.
Now, if you can get a used KT36XA, do it in a heartbeat. This updated
version made by M2 addresses the the problems associated with the old
KT34XA.
I've had my three high stack of KT36XAs up for 18 months. They are
solid
performers.
