McMaster Carr. Their 3/16" is rated at 4200 lb!!!
He said the safe working load (SWL) was 1400 pounds. Based on ultimate
breaking strength (UBS), the SWL is from 20% to 30% but it's not specified.
20% gives you a UBS of 7000 pounds, about right for 1/4" but not 3/16".

HD, just go to McMaster-Carr, call them and place your order. You'll have
it at your door in 48 hours and for less $$$
Always good advice to someone to buy from someone who knows what they're
selling. OTOH I don't think there would be a problem with using the Home
Depot stuff. The loads exerted by a 54' tower are pretty reasonable.
In any case, observation of the LXC Prime Directive to "DO what the
manufacturer says" trumps just about everything else.
