Well, after trying for several weekends to tune my beam (A4S w/40m addon)
on my very modest 40' tower, I find that the EHS guys hugely interfere
with the tuning (unguyed, fine, guyed....SWR all over the map).
I broke up the guy at 21 ft .I suspect that its more the presence
of the steel wire than the length of it, that is affecting the antenna
performance.
What size of Phillystran is correct to replace 3/16 EHS? I suspect that
this will
fix my tuning problems, and I can do something else with my weekends
than crank the hazer up and down (like OPERATE!!!)
