I am in the process of putting a TH-11 together and it uses dampening cord in the small elements with plastic end caps on all elements and the boom. Except for drain holes in the (six) traps, there appears to be no other attempts at providing moisture drainage. Ditto for the 40-2CD I am putting together. Should I be drilling drain holes in all of the elements? In the end caps? 73, Dick -- Dick Flanagan W6OLD CFII Minden, Nevada (South of Reno) Visit http://www.qsl.net/w7di/ -- FAQ on WWW: http://www.contesting.com/towertalkfaq.html Submissions: towertalk@contesting.com Administrative requests: towertalk-REQUEST@contesting.com Problems: owner-towertalk@contesting.com Search: http://www.contesting.com/km9p/search |
