de VE9AA:

I was only on this weekend for abt 6 hours, so am not an authority of what
happened on 160..by a long shot.

I did hear EU both evenings well before SS here and was able to eek out a
few west coast earlier than normal it seemed (with difficulty).

3 CA, 2 WA, 2 OR, 2 VE7, 2 VE6 etc. The usual suspects (heh heh)> You know
who you are. ;-)

I never stayed up either night for EU sunrise, so only managed a few dozen
DXCC's , mostly in EU, and a few around the Caribbean/SA/CAmerica. DL6FBL
did have an amazing signal though and was worked on the first call. Wish I
knew what he was running for an antenna..anyone?

Friday condx were pitiful and Sat only a little bit better. Might have
changed my mind if I had stayed up or dragged myself out of bed for any
possible KH6/ZL/VK's, but I slept in.

I blamed it on my newly reinstalled and poorly repaired inverted L.but after
reading the 3830 comments, I'll blame it partially on Ol' Sol.
