Hi Steve,

that is exactly my observation. To make things worse, I think
that at least some of these many sources probably radiate
through the wires (whether horizontal, vertical, above or
below the ground) and thus cannot really be located.

Louder DX, as you are saying, is the only solution.....

I love 160m but I hate the modern civilisation's noise.
