Jacek 3D2KJ Had problems with his PA last few days.
On Thursday the amplifier (FETs one) blew up and they spent all night trying to
repair it.
They have been not successed entirely and Jacek is using only 300W now.
There is a secend PA used by Jacek 3D2MJ (SP5EAQ) on SSB....if it will be
really necessery
he will "lend" it for Topband activity.
They have still heavy winds and already had to repair collapsed verticals a
few times.
Jacek noticed much worse condx last days to Europe and even usually loud
stations from
Russia and Ukraine were on the level of noise. Let's hope it will improve in a
few days...still plenty
of time left as they will be active till 28th. Jacek is looking also for far
West Europe around 0600 Z.
He was hearing DL station last Eu afternoon...
They are still waiting for ordered coax to take 80m vertical closer to the Sea.
Because 3D2KJ is mostly dedicated to Topband his 80m CW activity will be a
little bit later.
I have logs till 10th Oct. 1740Z (no 3D2MJ logs sri)
