Hi All, in the Stew Perry, I used Electric Fence Wire, ie 3 strands of silver
wire wound within many strands of synthetic rope.
It seemed to work ok, but I do wonder if a multi stranded copper wire would
have worked better ?
What do the experts out there think ?
The actual Antenna was my 80m dipole (copper stranded wire) shorted out as 1
half, and 230 ft of electric fence wire as the other half of the antenna, fed
with 300ohm ladder line direct to my MFJ -986 tuner.
