Probably this has been addressed before-but perhaps I missed it. A friend
wants to install some Beverages but the only place he can place them is
along the line fence, which is page wire and barb.
Question is, how much coupling is there likely to be between the Beverages
and the fence? Any recommendations as to change in height above the fence
from, say, the normal 5-9 feet above ground? The antennas can not be offset
from the fence-they must be installed using attachments to the steel posts.
Any comments would be welcome. This fella is keen to get on Topband and a
couple of fairly efficient Beverages would let him hear NE and SW down the
fence.
