The Xicor spec sheet for the X2404P (U8 on the logic board) indicates "Data
Retention" is 100 (one hunded) years and an "Endurance" of 100,000 writes
per byte.
So, from a practical view, I'm thinking that our Omni V memory life is more a matter of usage (memory in/out cycles) than time.
