Rick:
Unless you are banned from doing so in Germany, you can source commuter parts
on ePay and build a machine with little expense. For the OS go to Linux MINT
or Ubuntu to keep cost down.
I know you have used Linux in the past, but the new versions of the two I
mentioned sure make using Linux easy-peezy!
