I may have been too stingy in targeting blame: FedEx has, from time to
time, also floated to the top of my septic tank for its uncanny ability
to destroy solid steel ingots regardless of packaging.
So far, the USPS has been unable to match either UPS or FedEx in their
singularly destructive potential, but I haven't shipped anything
particularly heavy with USPS, yet.

Another vote against using "The Ooops Store" (UPS Store) and Ooops shipping.
Another member of the list and I have been trying for weeks to collect
damages for packing and shipping another fine piece of TenTec gear that was
mangled upon delivery. I think N5OP's tongue & cheek comment about them
breaking anvils may be true!

Yep, I'd say this is nice package deal with radio, PS and filters.
I view it smart to ship via Fed-X. I had my Eagle recently damaged by UPS
during transit. It was double bubble wrapped and double boxed with foam
between the two boxes. Still took a hit that broke the AF Gain and RF Gain
control.
