Phil -
It's the big yellow one in the 20 meter LPF. If you look at the board
from the ten meter LPF end, it's the one on the left on the 20 meter
LPF. There is a small blue one to the left of it and the coil to the
right of it.

As it happens, I have a Herc II opened up on the work bench. If you
tell me which LPF is involved (what band?), I'll see if I can give you
some guidance.

Schematics do not give a parts description and do not use what you
took out, maybe someone replaced the original with the wrong
component. Go to parts list in manual and if not listed call TT.

Subject: [TenTec] Herc 2 LP Cap?
I burned up a capacitor in the low pass filter of my Hercules 2
amplifier.
According to the schematic it is C42 with a value of "100".
I'd like to replace it. Is "100" the value on the schematic in PF? It's
a big yellow disk. What voltage cap should I buy?
