Thanks Mike... that confirms my suspicions. I'd also guess the Dallas time chip has an internal battery for the clock. Those Dallas chips seem to run forever. I'd wonder if anyone has opened one up to see if it is feasible to replace the internal battery? The T voltage Omni VI QSK keying mod for non tech amps has been discussed in the past. It works fine with my converted SB-220. I'd think the control boards and the T voltage timing would be the same between the Omni VI and Paragon II, but I was hoping that someone had tried it.
