Did the FCC make some more changes I did not see. Isn't the power output limit
still 1500 watts PEP?!!

I agree that the 1/2 S-unit is a marginal benefit at best.
Some amps won't drive to the legal limit with only 100W in. Or maybe it has
to do with getting a full 2500 watts PEP out of those capable amps if you
have a bit more than 100 watts to drive it. Of course, we're still in the
range of 1/2 S-unit or less. So it is a bit of a head scrather :-)
