I had thought intuitively that the wire supplied by TT and the connector on the radio was "wimpy." The wire on my FT-100d is a lot heavier and the connector a lot more substantial. I have had to go into the power jack and spread the prongs apart to get a better connection when my screen started to flicker. I noticed the connector looked blackened. I wish they had spent an extra 50 cents and used a heavier connector and wire. Anyone else care to comment? k4ia Craig "Buck" Fredericksburg, Virginia USA _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
