Jerome, With MixW and the N4PY program, in MixW go Configure-TRCVR CAT/PTT-TEN TEC-Pegasus \ Jupiter (emulation mode) and fill in the software path. Now the MixW will import the frequency/andd/mode from MixW and control frequency/band/mode. I use a hardware interface from MixW to the serial port DRT or RTS line to the PTT line in the Jupiter in the Accessory plug. This line is the same as the CW key line. The N4PY has a CW keyboard, but I didn't try that while using MixW. 73, W1CG At 01:21 AM 10/14/2004, jerome schatten wrote: I googled on this and I think there may have been some discussion on it in 2003, however I found nothing really relevant. I'm running a Jupiter and most of my time is spent on cw. Occasionally, when I can't make my bug go fast enough, long enough, I wish to use a keyboard to send. Using MixW2 meets my needs for a simple vox driven cw keyboard. N4py meets my needs for rig control. I'm using a rather lame p100 with 32 megs of which ram works ok using either programme, but as you might guess, not both at the same time. _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
