Sorry about that, guys, but my Orion will go back to the dealer for repair,
fix up, refund or anything else...
I spent so much time during these 4 days trying to get this radio working
the way it should work... I found myself spending my time trying to get all
the problems fixed with downgrades to the firmware (1.367 and 1.370 and back
again to 1.371), RAM clear procedure, 10 or so master resets , etc...
instead of having fun on the air !
Now the game is over for me, I'm stucked, I've lost any confidence to this
piece of equipment.
Anyway, I'm still a Tentec lover, and I regret the time of the Paragon and
Omni VI+ photos hanging on the wall of my radio shack ! ;-) The Orion is
working better on the nice 4 pages brochure I received from Tentec than in
real life situation, at least for me ! I know there are some Orion's working
in some places, so again I don't say this radio is a bad one.
All the best, I'm leaving this reflector by the small door, bye bye !
