There is a linguistic issue here. As I understand it, the original Japanese
text reads "Better than -60 dB". The reference (full rated output) is
implied. For English-speaking "gaijin" audiences, "< -60 dBc, where 0 dBc =
rated output" might be clearer. (I can just hear the peanut gallery
clamouring "What the Sam Hail is 'dBc'?")
The "More than 60 dB" is a loose translation of "More than 60 dB below rated
output".
As we Scots say, "Och laddie, I wuidnae git ma wee trews in such a twust!"
